There's some small threading in there if you look. Sangdo L : I bought it for a Panasonic 20mm f/1.7 lens for a Micro Four Thirds camera, so I can't answer your question. It has a 46mm male thread and 46mm female thread, so I would guess it will fit one way or the other. Adorama will accept a return in case it doesn't fit without an adaptor. Good luck.

I would buy this again

When I purchased my Panasonic FZ35 in 2010, I wanted this filter, but it was unavailable because of high demand, so I bought another brand, and it was not satisfactory. So I finally got the one I wanted in the first place and it is very nice......the glass is clear and the mounting ring is thin and strong. I don't use a lens cap when I'm out in the street taking photographs, so a filter like this is essential for me.

I Have Always Used This Panasonic Filter

Provides good protection for the expensive lens, and helps to keep dust from getting inside the lens barrel. Plus the DMW-LMC46 easily screws right onto the lens barrel, which means it never needs to be taken off.
