I love it

Bought this camera for an upcoming trip. I absolutely love it. I'm a novice getting back into photography and this camera suits all my needs. It's sleek and light. It has that vintage look that I love. I had a hard time trying to get this camera as it was sold out on a lot of sites. So Happy with my purchase.

Coming from the gm5, I did not like the button layout of this camera at all. There should have been better buttons when you have more space to work with on this gx850. Into the return bin, you go camera!

Great camera, but touch screen became unresponsive

I bought this camera as a smaller camera to use when I didn't want to carry the GH4. It takes great pictures and video, and the 4K looks fantastic. It is very pleasant to use. The compact lens makes it possible to put into a small case. The flip up screen is great for selfies and vlogging. However, the battery life is pretty short, so I wouldn't plan on shooting 4K video all day, or even for a few hours, on one battery. I'd actually give this four starts except for one problem. A week after I got it, the touch screen became unresponsive. The camera can be used without it, but I wanted the ability to touch to focus. It was really strange what happened. Several of the menus also disappeared from the camera. I was able to reset it and get them back. However, the touch screen still won't respond. I plan to exchange this for another one and hope it works better. I really do like this camera.
