SAMMY L : Does this 46mm cap fit the 14-42mm lumix g7 stock lens?

Shopper : I have a Panasonic DMC-FZ35, will this cap fit?AILAN COLE W : The FZ35 Lens retracts inside the Lens Barrel so it uses a 55mm Lens Cap for the barrel and not the lens itself...even if you use the 46mm you will still be required to cut the loop off that holds the lanyard to enable the 46mm Lens Cap to retract inside the 55.8mm Lens Barrel...ROBERT J : For the DMC-FZ series, it fits on the actual lens that moves and goes inside the camera body when you power off, not on the outside part attached to the camera body.JANET S : Sorry but I do not know.. My suggestion is measure the diameter of the lens or it should be on the lens itself and match to this cap.. Every lens will have the mm mark so you will know if it fits. ThanksRICHARD W : After trying many brands, I found this to be the best 46mm Lens Cap for either Olympus or Panasonic lenses. It works fine for all of my Lumix Lenses. It works equally well for 46 mm filters. To me this is a well designed product. It securely attaches to the threads of the camera lens or a filter. I disagree with the reviewer who complained the the product had "poor design" because it did not have a lanyard included nor a hole through the cap to allow one to be attached. Personally, I would much rather had a lens cap like this one that fits very tightly than a loose or poorly fits lens cap that is more likely to fall off. I find that a lanyard often catches on clothing or objects and prefer not to use one. In order to allow swapping of filters, I use a step-up ring to 46mm on all of my lenses for my camera system. Since I just purchased a new lens that will also be step-up for a 46mm filter, I think I'll just buy another 46 mm cap for that lens.MARVIN M : NO, the 46mm cap isn't recommended because of the clearance required for the lens to expand & retract into the camera body. There's a suggested work around using the DMWLA3 adapter that will also enable you to use caps, filters, step up rings etc. This can be conveniently resolved by your Adorama sales rep. Great replacement cap

I lost my cap as it rolled down an auditorium never to be seen again. So I ordered this cap and service was great. I like the pinch cap. Fits good. Tight. No problems with it.

It's a cap, it caps.

I chose this cap and waited for it because it's probably the best of the bunch in this size. I have it on a Leica 28mm Elmarit. Leica has the lip of their cap extend beyond the rim of the lens and it's knocked off every time I take the camera out of the bag. This one is flush with the edge and a bit stouter than the original cap, it stays on.

Great Buy!

I purchased from Adorama because the lens price was reasonable, and the shipping cost was very reasonable; other vendors had ridiculous shipping charges. Great purchase, would shop here again. Reason for "Poor Design" choice: I did not like that the lens cap did not have a lanyard (cord) included nor did the cap have a spot to thread a cord through to then attach directly to camera so you don't lose the cap when removing - that's how I lost the original one! Glad I bought two!
