Simple to use, but slow

I bought this for my 7 year old because I knew it would be tough to break and easy to use. It is made quite well and the addition of a screen on this model makes it very good for a young photographer, but unfortunately the shutter button is slow. 90% of his photos are bad because it takes the camera over a second to release the shutter from the time he pushes the button. I tested it out myself and while I could easily hold it steady, I couldn't guarantee my subject wouldn't move. Prints come out just as you'd expect from a Polaroid. Definitely fun for a kid as long as he can get some decent shots.
