Decent Product for the price

This is a great item for taking old negatives and slides and converting them to digital. It basically appears to take a digital picture through the slide/negative and at times, the resolution appears to be mediocre. The scanning of photos has not worked well for me. It appears that is photos the photo rather than a true scan. Fortunately, I don't really want to use it to scan photos - scanners do a better job. But if slides and negatives is what you want to process - this does a pretty nice job.
