This is a simple product that produces fine sharp results. The Scratch removal does a good job but slows down the process. In about 5% of cases, it produces digital artifacts when misreading scratches. The preview is not very accurate even when connected to a TV but the end results are good. I imagine on a more expensive machine there would be better control of colour for some of the old slides that have lost colour.

I used this device to transfer nearly 1000 color slides to my PC. It worked very well.

This unit works very well on slides but when I tried to use i on color slides the color was way off. It shifted to red.

This unit is a breeze to use, no confusing software to learn simply set the mode to Photo or film and go, scanned quickly and even allowed for direct viewing when connected to TV, transfer of files was easy, no need to even remove the SD card, I simply connected it to my PC and it showed up under My Computer as removable drive for accessing images on the card.

Poor documentation. inconsistant, limited controls, poor PC interface, No drivers, Headed back to vendor for refunf... long line!
