I found out it needs a larger slide holder,and directions on what side of the film should face in the holder other then that,you have to use trial and error in loading your prints,once you learn how to use this product,its great.

The unit is easy to set up and it works to get an image from a slide to digital format for saving and being able to see. Definitely not for someone who thinks they have quailty pictures and want to make them into quality digital pictures. I used it for old family pictures to be able to have them digitally available and have people say "I remember doing that". But not even bothering to convert some of the scenery pictures from vacations. But good for getting the esssence of the activities.

Age darkened slides will not scan very well, you end up with either no picture or very poor definity.
