Simple and Effective product
I bought this product because when I researched by underwater camera purchase I found someone who ruined their camera when it accidentally opened from rubbing on their life vest. I thought this would prevent the battery compartment door from accidentally being tripped open since it covers the access door and also cushions the entire camera from bumps and drops. It seems to be very flexible and installs and removes easily from the camera body. Being silicone, it should have long life.

Must have
This is a must have item -- to keep the battery and output hatch from opening accidentally underwater. This did happen to me before I bought the protective skin. A camera was in the pocket of my life jacket and a hatch was forced open as I was climbing out of the water onto a boat. The camera was damaged. The protective skin holds the hatches secure.

Superficial, Non-Functional Protection
Does not protect LCD. Does not protect against impact. To thin to prevent anything but the most superficial scratches.
