Force it on and protect your lens. I think buying  a hard waterproof case would be ideal though.

Protects only the lens.

Great camera for 360 photo and for virtual tour. It has a quite simple workflow and excellent app to manage and help improve the use of the camera.

Excellent investment for Virtual Tours

This thing fits SO tightly I have a very hard time believing it won't scratch the lens. It's not as though it covers the whole camera, so if you're traveling with it inside it's included neoprene sleeve, when would you take the sleeve off and put this on anyway? It's pointless.
