Nice filter Nice price!

I use this Irix UV filter on my Irix 150mm EF lens as it has no light flaring and it is easy to keep clean with its water and dust repellence. AND ADORAMA has it at a great price!

The best sub-$50 filters from an underrated brand.

The build quality is solid. The knurled ring on the polarizer is easy enough to rotate and well-damped to prevent accidental bumps from turning it. It's fairly slim for its price point. What sold me is its image quality. Crystal clear and with a very minimal 1.25x filter factor (+1/3 stop), there's only a negligible tradeoff. It works like magic. I barely notice it being on half the time.
