The Guzheng, also known as the Chinese zither, is a historic instrument featuring 21 strings stretched over a long, ornate wooden body with adjustable bridges for tuning. We've partnered with classically-trained musician and sound designer Qianqian Jin, who has expertly performed both standard and extended articulations for this collection.

This virtual instrument is versatile, making it perfect for creating authentic Chinese-inspired music, modern scores, or soundtracks. Our extensive range of audio demos demonstrates this flexibility across a variety of styles.

Qianqian Jin, a multimedia performance artist and designer, is passionate about innovative sound design and composition. With her Eastern classical training as a Guzheng player and Western music education as a digital composer, she has recorded over 50 GB of Guzheng samples using various techniques and tools, expanding the traditional Chinese instrument's capacity for composers worldwide.
