The Shreddage 3 Abyss is powered by the state-of-the-art S3 Engine, offering more realistic performances, easier editing, custom articulation mapping, and a plethora of built-in FX including amps, cabs, and pedals. This high-quality virtual instrument is the result of over 10,000 meticulous recordings, all placed in our cutting-edge S3 engine.

Experience the unique sound of a custom Muckelroy electric bass, a versatile instrument that starts at a floor-shaking drop A and extends up four and a half octaves. The instrument was performed by master bassist, composer, and session musician Tony Dickinson, who brought his extensive experience and skill to the recording process.

To ensure the most pristine and well-rounded DI tone, we used a Universal Audio Solo/610 analog tube pre for maximum fatness, punch, and warmth. Each string was recorded in exhaustive detail across every fret at multiple dynamics, with up to 8x round robin (RR) variations per note.

The Shreddage 3 Abyss comes with a Console FX rack and mixer, eliminating the need for external plugins. Choose from dozens of included presets and get ready to create music like never before. Every articulation can be mapped or triggered as per your preference using Total Articulation Control Technology 2.0 (TACT).

The Console, our new mixer, modular effects rack, and pedal board, offers 30 effects modules to choose from, including multiple EQs, compressors, spatial FX, modulation FX, amps, distortion pedals, reverbs, and a selection of over 30 custom cabinet IRs recorded specifically for Shreddage 3.
