Concept
Shreddage 3 Hydra is the culmination of everything we at Impact Soundworks have learned in 10 years of creating virtual guitars. This is our vision of what a no-compromises, maximum-quality 8-string guitar should be. Our internal bar of quality was so high that we recorded the entire sample set three times in our pursuit of the perfect performances and tone.

Now it's finally done, and you can enjoy the ultimate rock and metal virtual guitar in your music.

We selected an "Iron Label" RGIF8 drop-tuned to low E for our guitar, and equipped it with Fishman Fluence Tosin Abasi Signature pickups. These pickups put Shreddage 3 Hydra in its own class, even compared to our other instruments. They not only have distinct and useful tones (neck & bridge positions), but their clarity and low noise floor is unmatched. Some open-string sustain notes ring out for over 40 seconds!

Thanks to exhaustive sampling of all useful articulations, dynamics, RR variations, and layers, Hydra gives you all the tools you need to create absolutely incredible guitar tracks. With the right writing (see our 'Masterclass' series on YouTube, below) you can make rhythm parts, chords, and leads that will drop jaws with their sound and realism.

Naturally this is a killer guitar for rock and metal music, particularly heavy subgenres and progressive variations. But as you can hear in our walkthrough video and demos, the clean tone possibilities are just as impressive. The clarity and sustain in the pickups make Hydra a great choice for any kind of 'gaze' style music too.

Concept
Super Audio Cart faithfully reproduces the sound of seven classic video game systems and eight classic computers whose cultural legacy and influence has lasted far beyond their commercial lifespans. When the library was conceived, our goal was superb authenticity by deep-sampling every sound chip. But over time, we expanded our vision to shatter the limitations of the original systems and allow for near-infinite sound design possibilities.

The final, Complete version of Super Audio Cart is the culmination of 2+ years of intense research, development, and sound design. With a massive library of 14,000+ samples meticulously recorded, edited, and looped, we've thoroughly captured the raw capabilities of each game system or sound chip. These sounds are loaded into a custom Kontakt Player engine packed with cutting-edge features, along with 2,500+ factory snapshots to inspire both retro music, chiptunes, and modern genres.

To create this instrument, everyone involved needed a passion and deep connection to both video games and their music. That's why we collaborated with OverClocked ReMix, a website and community dedicated to the appreciation of game music. When we first played this magnificent grand piano in its concert hall, we fell in love. We decided we simply had to capture it and craft a timeless virtual instrument - and that's exactly what we did. The beautiful tone of Pearl, captured through each of the four microphone positions, truly 'sings' with each keypress. The default tuning, velocity curve, and mixing settings are all set to inspire your compositions and musical creativity.

A powerful yet unencumbered user interface provides very easy control over all aspects of the sound, such as mic mixing, channel EQ, tuning, and velocity response. By simply adjusting the mic mix alone, you can achieve drastically different timbres.

Concept
Juggernaut consists of three sound sets: drums, FX, and basses, spread across two Kontakt patches and an external set of WAV files. Drums are divided into 8 categories: kicks, snares, thips, crashes, splashes, slams, perc, and tonals, all of which have 10x RR. FX include sweeps, impacts, reverses, textures, risers, and drops, while basses are categorized into Solid, 1shot, Mover, Distortion, and Fuzzy. The Drums & FX patch includes a 32-channel mixer with FX rack, multiple playing and audition modes, and dozens of preset categorized kits. The Basspatch features a synthesizer-style interface with filters, a rhythmic sequencer/gate, larger FX rack, envelopes, and modwheel control.
