Shopper : will this work on a NX210?LOUIS P : My understanding is this does not work on the NX-210 as it has the flash shoe but not the plug into the back. That feature is mentioned as a flaw for the NX200/210 in many photography reviewing web sites.PAUL D : I believe this will ONLY work on the NX100; not even the NX200.
James F : Can you use a flash while using the viewfinder?PAUL D : No - the EVF mounts in the hot shoe; so it's one or the other but NOT both. If you are used to a true viewfinder you'll be disappointed. But if you want to put your eye to the viewfinder for better framing, then it works just fine. The diopter adjustment is easy to nudge out of focus, so I taped mine, with black electrical tape, when I had it set correctly for my eye.MARIO M : No you can only use flash or viewfinder. (it is very coarse and dimm, in my opinion, uslessCHARLES G : I have the camera, but have not purchased the viewfinder. However, I don't think that you can use both at the same time.KAZI A : I have the flash but not the viewfinder. Buit I belive you cannot. Because there is only one shoe and you can attach either.
Shopper : Why Did You Choose This?PAUL D : This is my first digital camera. I'm used to composing and framing thru the viewfinder. Doing the same thru the screen seemed awkward to me.

ADORAMA rocks, as usual. Yes, they had the best price.

Sometimes its not easy to focus the NX100 with its rear LCD. This EVF makes the Samsung similar to an SLR. Its much easier to focus with this EVF. It slips into the Hot Shoe so you loose either Flash capability or use of the EVF if you use a flash. Thats the first con. The second is the EVF's Diopter Adjustment can easily be changed just by removing the NX100 from your camera bag or reinserting it. I use a piece of tape to hold its adjustment. It looks like the new Samsung NX200 camera can't use an EVF. Thats a mistake. If you have a NX100, buy this while you still can. ADORAMA rocks, as usual. Yes, they had the best price.
