The Samsung NV40 is a Smart Touch Face Detection Digital Point-n-Shoot Camera. It has a mounted high picture quality 10.5 mega pixel CCD. The high picture quality is obtained by employing an 10.5 mega pixel 1/2.33" high resolution CCD sensor. Clear picture quality can be achieved even for images larger than A2. A robust mounted image processor allows for rich gradation, fast and high quality picture processing.

It is equipped with a 3x optical (37-111 mm at 35 mm) Schneider lens, F2.8 - F5.2. The newly designed 3x optical zoom (37-111 mm at 35 mm) supports rich expression of pictures. World's top class Schneider lens completely prevents all chromatic aberration and distortion that occur with lens. The specially designed combination of a non-spherical lens and a low dispersion lens allows for rich expression of high resolution images.
