After extensive research and development, Sony presents the E 10-20mm f/4 PZ G Lens, a compact and lightweight ultra-wide-angle power zoom lens that perfectly blends mobility and superior image quality. This innovative lens, designed for E-mount APS-C and Super35 cameras, is the world's smallest and lightest of its kind, weighing only 6.3 oz. and measuring a mere 2-1/4" long. The lens features an internal zoom and focus mechanism, ensuring a stable center of gravity ideal for vlogging or gimbal-mounted shooting. Its dynamic ultra-wide perspectives and exceptional G Lens resolution throughout the 10-20mm zoom range are achieved with three aspherical elements that suppress field curvature and astigmatism, common issues in wide-angle lenses. The lens also incorporates two Extra-low Dispersion (ED) elements and an ED aspherical element, contributing to remarkable image-wide resolution. The electronic power zoom system instantly converts zoom ring control to change in focal length, allowing precise changes in the angle of view for enhanced visual expression. The lens is equipped with a zoom lever with continuously variable zoom speed, enabling super-slow constant-speed zooms and other operations that are challenging with manual zoom. Power zoom minimizes camera shake, ensuring smooth, stable movie sequences even for solo shooters. Amazing quality and size

Bought this lens primarily for gimbal work and it has not disappointed. Auto focus is smooth and quiet. There is very little distortion even at 10mm. Took some test stills with this lens before putting it to work just to see if I could trust its focus. Gotta say that I was pleasantly surprised and will not shy away from using it down the road for some stills work. This capable little lens performs big at a doable small price.

Capable Lens at a Doable Price

Small and light but feels tough enough to cope with regular use outdoors. Sharp edge to edge, great for landscapes. It compliments my A6500 nicely and I look forward to using it my new A6700 which I have on pre-order.

SUPER,SUPER VIDEO LENS

Bought this for my FX30 becuase I wanted it to look like the promotional image as I thought this looked cool. It's a nice small lens.

Looks great, small, super wide

I wanted a 2.8 lens but bought this as it had OSS while my A6100 did not have IBIS. As I mainly use it outdoors in the day (landscape and street) I am happy to say it has not been a problem at all. Overall very happy with purchase (of course could be cheaper!!!)

Excellent Lens

I use this lens for Real Estate Photography. I also bought the Sony/Zeiss polarizer and have found this combo does a really excellent job of handling window bloom and glare. No need to use flash for my window pulls anymore. Results are much superior to to 10-18 F/4 Sony that I had been using.

Handles Window Bloom

Great little super wide angle zoom lens with a manual zoom and electronic zoom that is very smooth and quiet. Auto focus is quick but lacks stabilization.
