A useful, lightweight lens for landscapes
For my landscape kit I have only this lens and the 70-200 f4 (mk2) - which gives me all that I need for self-pleasing results

Good Lens but No Cash Back
I purchased this lens because of the cashback offer. The lens performs well, but very disappointed from Sony as they refused to honor their cashback deal. Buyer beware !

Very sharp, light weight makes it great travel len
Just hope it can be smaller in size. Power zoom works great on like za 10 which has a zoom lever at the shutter button

Solid lense
Solid lens. Light, sharp and perfect to shooting doc indoors. I used this with an F7smkii for an indoor reno show on HGTV and it worked just perfectly. The zoom is smooth and no breathing on the lens. Solid purchase.

Great lens, better than other's I have tried.
I love this lens. I use it with an a7s III everyday, I paired it with the Tamron 35-150 f2-2.8 and they work great together. I haven't done any scientific tests with it but with editing 100's of photos I haven't noticed much chromatic aberrations at all and the slight vignette is easily handled with the default Lightroom optics settings. Shooting video is good as well since the vignetting isn't that noticeable - a lot better than other wide angle zooms/primes I have used in the past. One thing to consider is the IBIS in sony cameras paired with this lens create a slight jello effect only when zooming and panning + tilting at the same time; not a deal breaker for me as it's not something I often do.

The new Sony 16-35 f4 is great!
Great new lens from Sony. Internal zoom motor is a big plus for gimbal shooters and the manual aperture is a nice touch for video work.
