a great bundle for people like me trying to grow their collection of camera accessories. I haven't found any issues with with the products, and the included cases for the lens, filters, and cleaning supplies seem to be really nice quality compared to other bundled accessories I've bought in the past

Lens is nice--small considering its reach. I like the capleash so tiny lenscap doesnt go hiding. Gratis lens cleaning kit nice, filters are kept as backup to better quality ones.

It seems to be a great lens but the auto focus is out of wack.

I love this lens, the only downside is that if I shoot wide open you see 4 black corners on the photo, same if it’s all zoomed out. I just shoot a few mm before all wide or all zoomed and it works well.

Great lens. Loving it so far. The filters are mediocre but honestly wasn’t expecting anything more. The rest of the kit items are fine. Overall very satisfied with the package. No regrets.

Purchased this lens to use on my a6300 (which has been converted to infrared) as an all-around lens. Love it! The proportions are perfect for this camera body, and the reach is amazing. No drifting when I have to shoot straight down, and creates nice sharp images. Well made lens, cleanly finished and feels good in my hands.

This is a very fine lens with very good optics which I find takes beautiful pictures.I wish Sony would produce an equivalent quality lens with a zoom range out to 300 mm.

After dropping my thousand dollar Sony Zeiss 16-70 mm lens and shaking something loose, I decided that it was more cost-effective to buy the Sony 18-135 mm e-mount lens than to try to repair the Zeiss. The major disadvantage of the 18-135 lens is that the maximum aperture size is one stop smaller than for the Zeiss at longer focal lengths. (The minimum f-stops for the 18-135 lens at focal lengths of 18, 24, 35, 50, 70, 100, and 135 mm are 3.5, 4.0, 4.5, 4.5, 5.6, and 5.6 respectively.). Also the body of the 18-135 feels as if it has a lesser build quality (but of course its cost is 45% less). To test the image quality I compared the 18-135 to the Sony 35 mm prime lens by shooting a test target. Set at 35 mm, the 18-135 was about as sharp as the prime lens in the center at all aperture settings from f/4.5 through f/16, but the corners were less sharp from f/4.5-f/8. The sharpness of the 18-135 zoomed to 70 mm was about the same as at 135 mm, but less than at 35 mm. At 35 mm, 70 mm, and 135 mm maximum sharpness was at aperture settings of f/5.6-f/8. I thought that sharpness was good for a zoom lens, although slightly less than I experienced with the Zeiss. I measured line-to-line resolution at the test target (positioned to take up the whole image) to be 225 lines/inch. At 18 mm f/3.5 the extreme corners of the image are black, apparently from the lens body. The black corners appear even without a filter mounted. They are almost all gone at f/8. This problem doesn’t occur at 35 mm with maximum aperture of f/4.5. This is a design defect that did not occur with the Sony Zeiss 16-70 lens at 16 mm and with maximum aperture (f/4). I consider this lens to be an economical alternative to the more expensive Zeiss lens, without too much sacrifice of sharpness. We lose a little on the maximum aperture, but gain significantly with the greater maximum focal length. Note on the accessory bundle: The filters supplied come in a box that describes on the back the professional multicoated filters. The filters on the Lens Essentials Filter Kit don't appear to have antireflective coatings (visual comparison made vs. Pro Optic MC-UV). For back-lit subjects or night photography with strong light sources in the frame you may need to purchase better filters or use no filters at all.

I bought this lens for a trip back to my native England. I have various lenses for my Sony a6000 but did not want to carry them all as hand luggage. Before buying I researched YouTube and independent reviews. It was a toss-up between this and the 18-105pz. As I already own an Olympus tconX17 that has a 55mm thread and the 18-135 has a 55mm front thread, it swayed my decision. After using this for a week, I have no regrets at all. It is well built and has a nice, but not too heavy, weight to it. Zoom action is smooth and very responsive within a half turn from wide to zoom. There is a little vignetting at the wide end but nothing that cannot be cropped out if required. Image quality appears to be sharp through most of the range, though this will be confirmed when I download to my laptop. The free accessories were a nice addition. The blower was very welcome as my old one just split. Not tried the CPL or ND filters yet. I will not use the UV. Pleased with my purchase and Adorama's excellent service.

I was wanting a 'travel' lens to go with my A6000 that had more zoom capability. I cannot speak to the technical capabilities of the lens, but I have been happy with it so far - I have used it for a few hundred pictures on a recent trip taking nature and landscape pictures. The photos, which I am still working on, seem to distortion free, and thus for now I can say I am happy with the quality. I give this four out of five stars because it is still early in my use of the lens.

I bought this lens to use as a general purpose travel lens. My photos are clear from 18mm to about 100mm. From 100mm-135mm there is some slight blurring. To prevent this I can use a tripod. I was able to get some nice nightscape shots using a tripod. This lens is not good enough quality to use for prefessional shots, but it's great for travel and for posting images on social media.

Brought it to a baseball game and was impressed with the zoom quality and the OSS. I didn't know what to expect at first but when I started clicking I knew it's not only an all around street lens but comparably fast as well. Video quality is more than what I expect - nice and crisp. Am loving it and always have it with me. DRamos

Good lens. Excellent zoom range, good picture quality. Little bit heavy/large for my taste. At lower apertures expect dark corners - that is why I recommend to use "aperture priority" camera mode for this lens. Not very cheap because it's new.

I have about a month with the lens and purchased it because I only wanted to carry one lens, and for that this lens is good, sharpness, built quality, weight, and overall is a good lens. Speed is what you expect of this kind of lens, if need something faster then you have to go prime lenses ($$-$$$). I think the discounted price is closer to the right price for what you get, I'm not a professional so for me is a good lens overall.

This is the lens I purchased for lightweight travel with its relatively small size. It has a 7.5 zoom ratio and covers almost every situation I require. I was very surprised at the sharpness and excellent contrast provided and much better than other zooms I own. It comes quite close to my single focal length prime lenses in results. I highly recommend it to everyone.

It is a great lens for what I do. I love taking family photos, portraits or action shots and documenting our vacation adventures. It has a great zoom range without extra weight. Pictures are sharp and portraits have romantic bokeh. I used to own Canon with the same zoom lens and it was larger and heavier. All the accessories that came with the lens were very useful and had a good quality.

I decided to get this lens for travel and as a general purpose walk around lens. It worked very well for my trip to London and for shooting while hiking at at some local state parks. There is definitely a bit of CA and distortion wide open at 18mm. It worked very well with my Sony a6000. The focus ring and zoom and nice and smooth. The images are sharp. The build quality seems good and solid so far. I am quite happy with this lens in my first couple of weeks of using it.
