With two precision XA (extreme aspherical) elements in its arsenal, this lens delivers edge-to-edge clarity that holds its own against the best prime lenses in the market.
Outstanding sharpness and contrast
Two Super ED (Extra-low Dispersion) and three ED glass elements minimize both longitudinal and lateral chromatic aberration for exceptionally sharp imagery without color bleeding. Contrast and clarity are further enhanced by Nano AR Coating II that effectively suppresses flare and ghosting.
11-Blade circular aperture
The FE 50-150mm’s 11-blade circular aperture and XA elements suppress that annoying onion-ring bokeh for the kind of background blur that makes people go, “Wait, what lens was that?”
