Significant AF and Video capability improvements over A7 III
A7 IV offers a significant improvement on AF and Eye Tracking (for both humans and animals), better skin tone rendition, better Video capabilities, flip screen, and better ergonomics. LCD and EVF got a slight bump-up in resolution but are still low-res compared to A7R offerings. New 360 flip screen is harder to tilt up and down for quick raise-camera-up and lower-camera-down shots, with A7 III, it's a mere flip up or down, now with A7 IV, have to first flip the screen to the left, then rota...

The Sony Alpha a7 IV Mirrorless Camera is powered by the BIONZ XR image processor, also used in the Sony Alpha 1 and Alpha 7S III models, providing up to an 8x increase in processing speed.
