Camera is great. Upgraded from an A99ll. Same performance, lighter weight for carrying around on day trips and I can use the Sony Lens adapter with my old A mount lenses. Only problem is with shipping/package quality. UPS delivered package with hole punched in outer shipping box and inside bubble wrap was totally collapsed. I contacted Adorama and they were very helpful. They offered to accept a return but I checked out camera and it functioned properly with no internal or external damage.

With the release of the mark V version, Sony offered a great rebate on the mark III version. As a hobbyist, this is more than enough camera that I will ever need. If I had waited for the used market to respond, probably could have gotten an even better deal. I am upgrading from an old Nikon DX camera APS sensor and a Sony rx100 mark 1 (was using the sony much more). I felt it time to re-energize this hobby. I became interested when I notices the Sony RX1 cameras, full frame, small size. My interest is portrait (family, pets, and friends), street and travel. I bought a couple Samyang lenses (35 mm f/2.8 and 45 mm f/1.8); affordable and small with the 45mm having some great reviews. I also bought a Voightlander Nokton 50 mm f/1.2 on the used market (great deal). The theme here is small, very good quality and a bag that I will use. The Sigma Art and Sony GM look like great options, but, I am deterred by their size, weight, and price tag. These are more for the pros, wedding, etc. I also picked up a used Zeiss Batis 85mm f/1.8.... The flexibility, quality, and ease of use will challenge my current default use Sony RX 100 or my cell phone as my go to camera. I look forward to grabbing my a7Riii with the Samyang 45mm on our next family outing! Lastly, if I find I am not using either the higher end lenses I have bought, I can sell with minimal loss. If I start using my new a7Riii a lot, I likely will engage in the used lens market, reselling the glass I do not use.... Am a repeat Adorama customer of both new and used equipment, never had a problem. Haven't needed to use their customer service (though had a minor problem with one of their competitors, so, have been sticking with Adorama, KEH, eBay, and my local store, etc).

Amazing device. Still very relevant today. Not the highest megapixel count in the Sony lineup, but it has more than enough. I have had little to no issues in use. Captured many memories with this beautiful camera.

I loved the SONY a7iii but I needed more megapixels to print large format photographs for gallery quality shows. This camera exceeded my expectation. I use it for gallery and museum documentation as well as in my own art. I wish it recorded 4k video at 60 fps but, hey, it is an amazing piece of equipment.

Lightning fast shipping and easy returns. I wouldn't buy anywhere else, but that's just me. No, I am not affiliated with them, I just like doing business with them. As far as the A7riii is concerned, I already own the A7iii and love it. I only wanted the extra resolution and the improved EVF and LCD display. I haven't had a chance to use the camera yet, but I'm sure if it is anything like the A7iii, it will be another award winner in my books. I already have the Godox V860ii S and it is a fantastic speedlight with a lot of power and features, so I know that the Flashpoint R2, being virtually the same, will exceed my needs. Honestly, I really can't think of any negative points about either product. I could nitpick little things, but where else could I find a camera with those same features at that price?

This is the sharpest camera I?ve used, I call it zoom-worthy because the level of detail is stunning! You can zoom for days and still get close details that even closer up on other cameras wouldn?t give that level of detail. I paired this with the 90mm macro 2.8 and it?s the perfect combo. Very pleased with this camera, transitioned from Canon to Sony and very happy with the move so far ??

I've used DSLRs for years, yet this compact mirrorless camera has the capacity to take amazing shots out of the box. Love how compact it is, the massive sensor captures every detail and the battery life makes it easy to carry just it around while playing with my kid. It is super easy to haul anywhere without having to worry about bulky cases or heavy equipment. Best gear I have purchased in a very long time.

My second a7riii from Adoroma. Had the a7rii as a backup and a7riii as my main camera. Decided to just get another of the same one since the focusing and touch screen focusing works so much bette. Absolutely love them.

This camera is amazing. I got a really great deal on it through the Adorama student discount program. While Sony has some weird quirks (awkward menu screen, only partial touch screen operation, and a god awful screen flip doohickey), the camera produces incredible detail. Highly recommend it if you?re in the market for a high resolution camera and don?t want to shell out the money for a mark IV!
