I got this camera to complement my A1 but ended up completely replacing the A1. The main reason for purchase is virtually unlimited x-sync that allows me to shoot all sorts of action with strobes in bright daylight. I can get 30 fps shot at 1/12800s fully synced with my Godox strobes (no HSS!) easily with this camera. If you think about it - 30 fps is basically a movie! This is just mind blowing. The BIONZ XR image processing engine, with up to eight times more processing power than previous models, processes the high volume of data from the Exmor RS sensor in real time.
