Works if all you want to do is protect your camera from splashes or dust. Changing from Modes, Settings, or reviewing video requires removing the camera from the housing. Some settings reset when you power off the camera, thus if you set them then put the camera in the case they will have reset, so you can only shoot video on green dummie mode or underwater mode, no customizable settings though. Giant protruding buttons make it easy to use if you're wearing gloves, but also make it easy to accidently turn it on in your pocket.
