It is disappointing that each new model comes with a differente type/size batery & memory card. I have a previous model of Sony Cyber Shot camera and I am not able to use the old batery and memory card on this camera! I think manufactures should be required to standarize the items (bateries, memory card, ports and cables) they use and only change them when the become obsolete

This is my fourth Sony Cyber-Shot camera and I love it! It lives up to the reputation of being a Sony pocket shooter with a great lens, easy to use features, and great build quality. I bought the TX100V to replace my aging N2. It's lived up the the image quality of the N2 and even get's close to the color correction of my Canon DSLR with filter. The HD video is as crisp and clean as you'd expect from a camera shooting full HD. My only complaints have to with the screen. It seems like the touch-screen suffers from the same back-lighting issue that plagued the first iterations of the iPad. In direct sunlight, the screen is almost impossible to see making the camera features almost useless. Also, all the controls are on the touch screen as well. So, when you are taking a photo and you accidentally graze the screen, you can send it into a different mode without realizing it. Short of those two slight problems, this camera is a winner!
