Ricky M : MY ZOOM WAS 107 AND I CHANGED IT TO 80? HOW DO I CHANGE IT BACK TO 107. THANK YOUTIMOTHY S : Ricky, Go into menu and verify 2 settings: 1) In MENU, set "Digital Zoom" to ON. (navigate there by clicking on the icon that looks like a suitcase, and then scroll down to "Digital Zoom" and set it to ON). 2) In MENU, scroll to IMAGE SIZE and make sure it's not set for (4:3 18M) and set it for a lower MP count - such as the one right next to it (4:3 10M). This reduces the number of megapixels to 10 and allows you to zoom up to 107.NANCY H : by moving the zoom switch from T (tele) to W (wide angle).
Mary L : can i take a photo while recording a video?FRED D : To answer your question - if you take a picture while recording a movie, the movie will be interrupted while the photo is being taken.TIMOTHY S : Mary, yes you can. It is limited, however, to 3 megapixels, but it works and works well. I see no stop in the action when the movie is played back after the shot is extracted from it. Plus the photo looks nice and clear. It's a cool feature on a very nice camera. I love mine.JAMES R : A micro-fiber lens cloth usually does the trick, these can be had at Walmart for around $2.. they are especially useful. This is especially true since most of us get nose-prints on our DSLR screens trying to capture the scene without shooting in live mode.
