I have owned many camera's, and this one is by far the best. It takes the picture quickly after you hit the button, and the focus is perfect. You can even put stickers on your pictures or draw on them. The touch screen is very simple and you don't have to press hard. A really good thing is that you can zoom in pretty far, and still get a perfectly clear picture. I love it and would recommend it to people who can take care of their camera...If you drop it a lot I'd say that's not good for its touch screen. *Thumbs Up*

I received this camera from my husband as my first gift…but I think this was the worst gift ever..after using g8 products of Sony such as Sony bravia T.V., Sony Vaio laptop and My old Sony camera.. We are highly disappointed by this camera because it produces highly blurred Images even when there is a slight movement in the object. We tried all possible setting modes but the result remains the same. It claims to have double anti blur technology but it seems it totally lacks it. The flash is too bright to use indoors, and the red eye reduction does not work, very Poor indoor and night picture quality . Photos are dull in colors. Battery life is also not good. We are really feeling disappointment by keeping faith in Sony. My kind suggestion to everyone if you do not want to waste your money please do not buy this camera…I think company should test it’s quality once more… On the other hand why I wanted this camera so badly was its looks and design…and my conclusion after using it for six month is it only seems beautiful but quality is horrible …

I think the product is over priced and over rated as a point and shoot. I am a point and click picture taker. The problems I have had are the flash is too bright to use within 3-5 feet of object indoors, blurred pictures with movement, and the red eye reduction does not work. I get people with red iris instead of red pupil. Also, the small design works against me. This is my first touch-screen camera, and I am always accidentally touching the right side of the screen when I try to take a picture. I keep opening the flash options menu and the camera won't take the picture when the menu is open. I can ask friends to hold still for another second while I figure it out and get the camera ready to take a picture again, but I can't ask my 2 1/2 year old nephew to do that funny thing again. On the bright side, the camera is pretty, and all my friends love it because of its looks.

I'm highly disappointed by this camera. Following are the main problems I’ve experience with this camera: 1. Highly blurred Images even when there is a slight movement in the object. I tried all possible setting including ‘iAuto’ mode but the result remains the same. It claims to have double anti blur technology but it seems it totally lacks it. 2. Poor indoor picture quality – Photos is hazy, seems to pixilated, and dull in colors My previous camera (Sony Cyber shot W55) had none of these problems. I'm really feeling let down by keeping faith in Sony. However, the only big plus I see in this camera is the video quality which is better than any other similar cameras. Overall, my recommendation is to stay away from this camera.

I got this camera for my birthday, and I like it much more than my Kodak V350. The face detection is fairly accurate, the retouching features are nice, and the screen is a beautiful size. It did take me awhile to find the black and white setting, though, and the touch screen isn't always very responsive. The battery runs out fairly quickly, and the zoom is only 4x. However, it is a great intermediate camera, and I love the HD video. The sliding lens is much nicer rather than a conventional lens, and it has a decent amount of megapixels. The price was a little high, but worth it for the features.

I love my camera. The touch screen is not the greatest ever. But the features are pretty cool. I can transfer 4 of my favorite songs in it and play them everytime I want to see my pictures in slideshow, I can draw stuff in any picture I want and decorate it with frames and other things. It works good in Auto mode and excellent when I select the scene. The macro has two options, and works very well, even with low light. One of my favorite features is that it automatically takes pictures of a person when is smiling. I recomend you to read the instructions, so you learn everything faster.

I don't not like this camera at all! your finger is always in the picture in the top corner! It's hard to navigate the menu. When you take a pic the slider starts to come up and sometimes shuts off! Terrible night pics!!!!!!!

I bought this DSCT90 camera recently. I went on vacation to Italy. Using iauto features, I started taking mostly outside sunny day. All my pictures came smeared with foggy and white blurry effect. Even when I took pictures with or without flashes inside the churches and museums, all pictures have same foggy and blurry whie effect. My wife using DSCT70 at the same spot and same time, she got perfect pictures. I did not get rid of foggy and white veil from my pictures. My italian trip is completely ruined. I am very disapointed for the performance of this DSCT90 camera.

I normally shoot with a Nikon D300 & D200, and I own numerous compact cameras from Nikon, Canon and Kodak for travel. I bought this camera specifically for the HD video function and it's small size. It's one of the few cameras that will let you use the zoom function while recording HD video (Canon Powershots lack this ability). I miss the landscape stitch function in the Kodaks which is great for panoramic shots while travelling. Battery life could be better. 50 pics and 10 minutes of video and it's done. Get the second battery. I'm using the Aqua Pack for protection from the fine alkali dust of the Black Rock desert. Works well. The dive housing is expensive compared to Canon but at least it is available. I've used the Canon's on numerous dives and with it's small size you can actually enjoy the dive instead of fighting your camera's bouyancy. I expect the same with the Sony housing. Picture quality is OK. Colors are good but the small sensor shows lots of noise in low-light situations. The steady shot function works well. Smile function works as advertised. Not having a lens poke out when zooming is good for getting candid shots since people don't know you've zoomed in. It's common for users to put their finger in front of the lens when they use it since it's tiny and on the edge of the camera body. Make sure you review shots before you move on if somebody else uses it. The flash is limited, 9 ft seems about the max distance. Great camera for travel. Having optical 4x zoom while recording in 720p is it's strongest feature in my book. You can get great spontaneous video of the kids with practically no effort because you just pull it out of your pocket when needed. Check YouTube for samples.

The Sony DSC-T90 is based around a 1/2.3" SuperHAD CCD image sensor with 12.1 megapixel resolution coupled to a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar branded 4x optical zoom lens. The Sony T90 offers equivalent focal lengths that range from a 35mm wide angle to a 140mm telephoto, while the maximum aperture varies from f/3.5 to f/4.6 across the zoom range. Macro focusing is possible down to a minimum of one centimeter in what Sony dubs "magnifying glass" mode.. The T90 forgoes any optical viewfinder in favor of a 3.0" touch-panel wide-aspect LCD display with 230,000 dot resolution.
The Sony Cyber-Shot T90 offers ISO sensitivity ranging from 80 to 3,200 equivalent and includes both true mechanical image stabilization, as well as Digital Image Stabilization which functions by raising the camera's sensitivity (and along with it, the noise levels) so as to achieve a higher shutter speed and reduce motion blurring.
The Sony T90 also offers face detection capable of differentiating between children and adults, recognizing and prioritizing one specific individual's face whenever they're present in a scene and detecting when your subject blinks during an exposure. The T90 takes into account the locations of detected faces when calculating autoexposure and autofocus variables. There's even a dedicated "Smile Shutter" button which triggers the T90 to capture a photo upon detecting that the subject is smiling.
The Sony Cyber-Shot T90 features in-camera retouching capabilities, with soft focus, fish eye effect, cross filter, partial color, retro, radiation, red-eye correction, trimming, unsharp masking and smile effects on offer.
