HENRY W : Can you transfer pictures to your p c?BRIAN M : Yes, you can transfer pictures to a PC. You can do that by connecting the camera to the PC with the cord included with the camera or by taking the memory card out of the camera and putting it into a memory card slot on the PC (if it has one) or into a memory card reader which is connected to the PC.JAMES P : Yes. I use the SD port on my PC or a card reader that I purchased separately.NSHUNGE M : Yes- i can transfer pictures to my PC..using my USB cable or the memory card directly.ANDREW R : Yes, using the supplied USB cable images may be transferred to a PC or other compatible device.
Shopper : Is this camera waterproof?BRIAN M : No, it is not waterproof. Sony does make a camera of this size that is dust proof, waterproof and somewhat shock resistant. However, I liked the features on the TX100 better, particularly the OLED screen. JAMES P : No, the camera is definitely not waterproof.GARY P : I've never seen a claim of this camera being waterproof in any ad description. The DSC-TX10, DSC-TX20, and DSC-TX200V claims to be waterproof.HENRY W : No.
Shopper : is this TX-100 or TX-100V?BRIAN M : I believe that the only difference between the two models that the one with the V has a GPS in it to indicate the geographic coordinates of where the photo was taken. From reviews that I have read, the GPS is quite slow to find its location and it doesn't work at all unless you are out in the open. So it may not be of much practical use. I have not had a chance to use the GPS feature, so I can't report my experience with it - sorry. As long as there is no price difference, I'd suggest getting the V model since the GPS function can be turned off which is what I have done to extend battery life. I am not even sure that model without the V is still available. I am very pleased with the camera - easy operation, inetersting and helpful shooting modes, excellent definition and color and it fits in just about any pocket. I can't comment about use as a video camera since I haven't tried using it that way.

Fantastic picture and video qauilty

I bought this camera for my girlfriend to use on a trip. The pictures and video she came back with were simply stunning. She found the camera easy to use, full of fun features and the results stunning. I was particularly impressed with the video. For a small point and shoot camera, the HD video quality rivals some much more expensive video equipment. Of course you're at the mercy of the lighting you're given etc. but if you're looking for a good "all-around" point and shoot this is your answer!

She found the camera easy to use, full of fun features and the results stunning. I was particularly impressed with the video. For a small point and shoot camera, the HD video quality rivals some much more expensive video equipment. Of course you're at the mercy of the lighting you're given etc. but if you're looking for a good "all-around" point and shoot this is your answer!
