The camera produces excellent photos. One needs to be careful that it is focusing on the desired area, but this is easy to do with the touch screen, by touching the area that you want to focus on.

I purchased this product because it has excellent quality pictures as well as video. I used the video as well as taking pictures at the same time. This camera is waterproof, which is always a plus since we take pics at the water parks. I can't find any faults with this camera, and it is easy on the wallet for price and quality!

So far I have not used this camera under water, but I have already taken lots of pictures. The quality is good and the camera is easy to use. The weakness I have found so far is the zoom, but, with a camera this size and price one can not expect everything. Overall, a good deal.

Panasonic LX 2 and LX7 are great for all my travel photo needs for a long time. Sony TX20 camera will not be my choice if weather forecast did not say about raining weather in NYC during my kid's graduation. Because I need a camera could be used in raining condition. To my surprise, Sony TX20 performance (both photo and video) are way above my expectation. Photos turned out to be great even in low light condition. Video is up to my Sony HC1 level. No kidding. The software used in TX20 is pretty good. Since Sony TX20 is replaced by TX30, get u self one befopre it all gone.

When I was learning how to use this camera, I found it easier to use Sony's online instruction manual than trying to navigate the various windows in the viewfinder.

The Sony DSC-Tx20/G Digital Camera (Green) is a 16.2MP point-and-shoot that boasts water, dust and shock-proof capabilities. That means it is tough enough to stand up to an extreme sport lifestyle, a toddler and life in general. In addition to capturing high-res stills, the DSC-Tx20/G also captures 1080/60i HD video using dual record for stills and movies.
A generous 3.0" xtra Fine touch panel LCD provides a large platform for recording, reviewing and menu navigation. The Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar 4x optical zoom lens provides a wide 25-116 mm focal length and the added benefit of Sony's Optical SteadyShot with Active Mode Image Stabilization. This ensures that even handheld shots will look smooth and clear.
No matter what you're recording, the DSC-Tx20/G stores files to MS Duo, SD, SDHC and SDXC memory cards. A micro HDMI connection also allows for a one cable connection to your HDTV, for big, beautiful memories on the big screen. Additional highlights of the camera include 10 fps burst capture, 3D still and 3D Sweep Panorama shooting, Intelligent Sweep Panorama HR mode and more!
