A Great Addition to my Smartphone
In a world where most people use smartphones for photo duty, I wanted something that took higher quality photos than my phone. Color accuracy is better than any phone I've tested (yes, even an iPhone 6 Plus), but what really sets this camera apart from a phone is the 20x optical zoom. I try to never use a digital zoom on my phone, so the only zoom I have with my phone is physically moving closer to a subject...something that can't always be done. The zoom on the WX350 is amazing in a camera this size.
I use the app constantly to put photos from the camera to my phone. It's one of my favorite features. The app works really well. Though my phone has NFC capabilities, I typically select multiple images and copy them over. Then I can share photos from my phone on Facebook, Instagram...
Video quality on this camera is excellent, made even better by the ability to zoom so close.
I did purchase the leather case for this phone, which I would recommend to protect the camera if you travel a lot.

Limited use
I now have one LCS-CSY and one LCJ-WD and find the former much more useful as I can thread it onto my belt.

Review of jacket case for Sony WX350
Bought this for recent in store purchase of WX350 (the store didn't have the case in stock) Before buying wasn't absolutely sure the case was right for my use but since receiving and using the camera on holiday it is an excellent product and convenient to use. I like the fact that I can completely detach the front cover and keep it in my pocket when using the camera for a prolonged period.
With the case fitted it feels robust and makes me less nervous about occidentally dropping the camera.
Two suggestions for improvement:
1. Make the shoulder strap easier to detach (mini carabinars?) for occasions where you carry the camera in your pocket and use the wrist strap only.
2. The case mounting uses the tripod threaded socket. It would be nice if the case also had an attachment in it to allow a tripod to be inserted without removing the case, an insert in the threaded thumb-wheel perhaps?
