This is a great case for the Sony DSC-HX1! The camera fits snugly in the case which is a good thing. I know from cases in the past there is usually some wiggle room. With this case there is no wiggle room! This makes me feel better as I know the camera will not be sliding around in the case during trave. The magnetic enclosure on the lid is really easy to open yet is very solid once closed. When the strap is attached to the camera and you have it around your neck, the case will not open. The only complaint I have is the extra battery or memory card storage solution. It is an external clip-on case. An extra pocket for both a spare battery and a couple memory cards should have been added directly to the case.
