Sony PCK-LM16 LCD Protector for a7, a7R, and a7S Cameras

After buying 3 other brands that were a pain to install, I decided to give this one a try for my A7R IV. It took less than 30 seconds, had 0 bubbles and installed easily and perfectly on the first attempt. Spare yourself the aggravation and annoyance from buying and attempting to install the other aftermarket alternatives, and cut to the chase and pick this one.

I love that this is a semi-hard cover. It does a great job of protecting against scratches, though, if you’re worried about protection from hard falls, I don’t believe that’s what this is designed for.

This protector was easy to apply and reapply. The biggest trick was removing all the lint and dust from the protector and the LCD. I removed and cleaned the protector several times with a lint-free cloth before I was satisfied and this seemed to have no negative affect on its ability to stick to the camera. I see no affect on the quality of viewing, and this product costs significantly less than other similar products I have used in the past. I feel confident my LCD is protected.

As a long term Minolta, then Sony user I've enjoyed using the A900, Nex-7 and 5N and now A7R. In some ways I see the 7R as a more specialist camera, ideal for landscape photography which is my main interest and the sensor can capture great detail. Have not had the camera long yet, but hope it is as durable, especially in paint finish as my Nex-7. I wish there were more compact wide angle primes for it, I find the zooms a bit bulky, but am pleased that my Sony E10-18mm OSS works well with it in the 14-16mm range on full frame

I bought this a month ago , excellent product , absolutely perfect fit on A7 series cameras and is invisible when fitted. Screen is still just as bright and clear when fitted.

The new A7 II shifted the black border to the right. Tempting to mount this protector will show the label "SONY" up-side-down.

SONY did a great job with this screen protector. You don't need to be a professional screen protector installer to get this installed with no bubbles, which would have made it totally unacceptable for me. When you have it on, it's invisible and if you ever get any scratch or other damage, you won't have hurt the actual screen and you can just replace this inexpensive accessory.

Went on well with only one adjustment. You cannot tell it is on the camera when fitted. It appears not to diminish the screens quality of picture. I have had similar on my DSLR for five years, so a sold on the little extra protection.

Put it on my A7 a few days ago. Went on easy and looks like it is part of the camera. It doesn't seem to get as many smudges and fingerprints as the LCD screen did. I got this for additional protection. So far, it seems great. I don't have any cons yet. Overall, appears to do what I want. Time will tell. I would recommend this purchase for the price.

Highly protective but not as bulky or obvious as some comparable competing product. Superior to film screen protectors.

Think of this as the same anti-glare LCD screen cover already on the A7(R), but with adhesive strips on the outer edges. The screen protector fits perfectly and seamlessly. You won't notice it on (I sometimes double-check to make sure it hasn't fallen off...it's that diffcult to notice).

This screen protector is a dream. It has a "frame" surrounding the film that makes it easy to handle and place. If you want to move it, it peels off and resticks. It just doesn't get any better than this.
