Great Lens at a reasonable price. Very fast for the size and reasonable bokeh nice and compact take every where lens . Good for street photography not too obvious. I had this lens before but I part exchanged for another lens and I decided to buy it again which speaks volumes.

This lens now permanently resides on my a5100 used as a webcam through a capture card. A very expensive webcam but the picture quality is worth it. Clients often mention the quality and clarity of the image so it is clearly well received.

I bought this one new, as it is so cheap! It's well made for the money, and makes my a6400 into a 35mm equivalent high-end compact. I haven't used it very much, but the quality of the images is very good and it is very light and small.

This lens is Awesome for carrying the smallest possible footprint on a6300 or similar. Its a tiny bit soft image wise. But if you are needing to take a small package to a family gathering. Portraits come out great.

This is a very compact lens, barely extending past the hand grip when attached to a Sony A6300. At this size it really takes over the role of a separate point and shoot camera for me. It may not be as sharp or wide as other more expensive primes, but the point of this lens is to be as small as possible while still getting quality images. I highly recommend this lens to anyone with a Sony A6xxx series camera. If you get the lens with the free package from Adorama, the Sony A6300 with this lens fits into the lens bag they include for a very snug, padded "camera" case. If you already have the small 16-50mm kit lens this may not be worth it.

This has been a great lens so far. Sharpness is okay for me, as a non-professional taking mainly travel photos. Physically the lens is so compact it barely extends past the hand grip of a A6300. It is tiny! One nice benefit I've found is that the A6300 body with this lens attached fits snugly into the padded lens bag included with Adorama's "free" bundle that comes with this. That makes a nice, minimal package if I don't want to carry a lot of camera gear. I would recommend this lens to anyone that often finds themselves second guessing whether they really want to bring a camera along for the day or not.

I got into Sony as a second system late last summer. I had been looking at different mirrorless options and came upon a great deal on a used a6000, so I bought into Sony. Not long after that I bought the 20mm. It had decent reviews and on the a6000, I can put it in a pocket, part of the draw of mirrorless is size and a lens like this keeps the size down. But the lens must perform and I am happy with the performance of the 20. This is the lens that spends the most time on the a6000, It is fairly sharp, has good contrast and colors. The 20mm focal length is quite useful. As expected, a pancake lens is fast and accurate on focusing. The well designed compact lens hood allows it to stay on all of the time while maintaining the small size.

I bought the Sony a6000 because it has fast autofocus and it's very small. I also wanted to try this lens on it. It's a sharp little fast prime, and the compact hood lets it keep that small size. I can actually put the camera and lens in a pocket, it's a great combination for street shooting, 20 mm is a good length and it's pretty discreet. The only problem I've seen is that I can't put the hood on a standard filter. Maybe there is a way, but I haven't really looked into it.l

I got this for my A6300, it is a great small pancake lens. The small size makes it a great companion for the lens. While it is not a very "fast" lens, 2.8 is great for general use. The 20mm is also a great length for every day use.

I am an enthusiast with several systems. Just bought a A6500 to complement my A7mkll with multiple e mount primes. The 20 mm is small and light, with decent sharpness that allows me to carry the A6500 around when I don’t want to fuss with gear and I want better IQ than a 1” sensor provides. I was tempted to do a Leica CL, but now I have $$$ in my pocket.

needed something to get more of the background while holding my Sony a6300. Didn't want to just get my head shot with the stock lens the a6300 came with and this is the perfect lens! not to mention it's faster because it can hit the f/2.8 and most importantly, there is no zoom and i don't accidentally zoom in and screw up the moment. It's just point at myself, record and presto! Also using this to do photography in restaurants. great to take pictures of food and the table and to get some of the ambiance

Wasn't sure if I'd like this lens, but I'm impressed. Pics look great--sharp and nice color definition etc. Perfect walk around lens. Can't quite fit my a6000 in my pocket with this lens, but it is still ultra portable. I'm definitely taking more photos now that I have this lens.

This lens gives an equivalent of 30mm focal length at full frame, which is perfect for street photography and taking pictures of your own kids. Highly recommend this lens.

This is a great lens. I like it because it is compact and provides a field of view that I enjoy shooting. I am not a pixel peeper nor a person who is concerned about what others perceive as being weak at the edges of the frame, but rather enjoy the color rendition given by the lens and the fact that because of its size, I can hand hold and shoot at low speeds if need be.

I recently got a Sony a5000 and was looking for an upgrade to the kit lens. I wanted something more portable because I like to take pictures when traveling. This lens is very small in size by itself, about half the size of a kit lens. The included lens hood makes it almost the same size as the kit lens so while it's nice, I probably won't be using it much. As for the photo quality, it loses some sharpness compared to a normal prime due to the pancake design, but it's still better than the kit lens. The f2.8 is a good advantage, letting me take pictures indoors without having to crank up the ISO too high. It gets some good bokeh too and is sharp enough for the average user like me. This is probably going to be my main lens from now on, because I highly believe that the best camera is the one you have with you. The camera fits snugly in my pocket and still takes pretty darn good pictures. As for the freebies in the bundle, the cleaning kit is nice. Filters seem of decent quality. I haven't tried the lens cap dongle yet. The included software is nice once you get it working. I had some trouble installing it because there was a glitch where the install window wasn't big enough to click anything. The trick was to make another administrator account on Windows and install it using that account. For some reason it works that way. Overall this is a great bundle. You get a good lens and some nice photo editing software if you don't have Photoshop already. Only knocking it a star because it would be nice if they could pull a miracle and make the lens as sharp as a normal prime and also the software glitch for the photo editing.

I got this to complement the 16mm I already had. So far the image quality is the same. I have gotten great shots and not so great shots. I think it is an user learning curve. This along with NEX 5t make for a very small package that is easy to balance and use on gimbal. That will be my primary use of this lens. Video on a gimbal and for those days when I want a pocketable camera. The accessories that came with this package look great and it is amazing that I got them for free. That is one of the reasons, I shopped from Adorama, their shipping and customer service has been great and this was a good buy. Definitely recommend for those who want a pocketable APS-C camera.

This isn't the sharpest lens, but it is still pretty very sharp in the center and gets a little soft in the corners. But it is so portable. It feels like a point and shoot with the a6000.

I'm very satisfied with my purchase of the Sony 20mm lens. I was happy it came with a lens hood & lens cap & the bundle was a great deal. The lens is slim (even with the UV filter, lens hood, & cap on it) & makes my camera even easier to take with me everywhere.
