IKUYASU U : What kind of SD card should I get with this? Other than the ones by Sony, what type of SD card should I pick up? Could you tell me the keywords? Thank you very much.CURTIS M : I think that most SDHC class 10 cards will work. Sony and SanDisk may be the most reliable. You probably want a read speed of 40 MB/second, though if you'll be recording high resolution video, a read speed of 95 MB/second is better (write speed is slower than read speed in each case, but the cards marked with the highest read speeds should also have the highest write speeds). Search terms would be _SDHC class 10 card_ (without the "_"), but then you'll want to filter by brand or sort by price.HAROLD T : Do not knowDAVID T : I use the SanDisk Ultra, but there other SanDisk products that will work also.ROBERT M : I'd recommend a 16GB ULTRA SD card from Sandisk, with 30mb/sec writing capability!SIMON R : I've been using Transcend class 10 cards in all my cameras for several years; I no longer have the Sony, but they worked just fine in that. They come in various capacities, but they're so cheap you might as well get, say 32 Gig (but that's up to you).ANDREW R : I use HP, Sony and Transend 32GB class 10 SD cards.

About Sony SLT-A58

Introducing the Sony Alpha SLT-A58 interchangeable lens camera, a DSLR that is designed for first-time interchangeable-lens camera users, and includes a new Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor with approx. 20.1 effective megapixels as well as a SVGA OLED Tru-Finder within its sophisticated compact body. Translucent Mirror Technology realizes high image quality and easy live view shooting, while Lock-on AF and Auto Object Framing enable anyone to capture images of supreme quality.

You get incredible detail and gorgeous enlargements. Thanks to the 20.1 megapixel APS-C sensor size and Sony Exmor APS HD CMOS technology, the camera achieves high resolution with no penalty in low-light sensitivity or sensor noise.

Other DSLRs can shoot. Or they can focus with the speed and precision of Phase Detection AF. They cannot do both at once. The SLT-A58, with Translucent Mirror Technology, directs light to both the image sensor and the Phase Detection AF sensor simultaneously.

Record stunning high quality 1080 Full HD Video in either 60i or 24p frames per second. Records in your choice of 1080/60i or 24p Blu-Ray quality AVCHD format or in PC-friendly 1080/30p MP4 format.

Using the 15-point autofocus sensor and Sony's subject recognition technologies, Object Tracking AF can maintain accurate focus on your subject even when it changes position in the frame.
