This camera is an absolute beast! The 4k 120fps is incredible and in such a compact package.

Why did I wait so long to purchase?!

Happy with this purchase, will look into buy more lens...

Compact full frame camera

Got my camera earlier than what was expected. Not much experience in hardware but this is a good entry into it. Quite pricey but well worth it.

Great Camera, Arrived Early

Camera itself is good but far from perfect. I'm still really confused how Sony allowed so many overheating units to the market. My first camera from BH Photo overheated in 10-15 while setting up menus. Not even recording. Crazy.

The second unit still overheats and shuts off when high temperature setting is not activated. The quality control on this is really bad, unless Sony pushed it knowingly which is an interesting decision to say the least

Great sensor, overheating is a hit or miss

I would exchange this for a a7riv or v but come to find out the company I purchased it from has a restocking fee I was unaware of. My fault for not doing more research. The kit lens is not what should come on this, the field of view works well using a 16-35mm g lens. This camera should be in the 1,800$ range for the body. The kit lens should not even be an option. If you're looking to take pictures at all just get a different camera completely?

So far I've had no issues with this camera. I'm videoing 6-7 minute max hand held making reels and YouTube videos. Love the ease of use and functionality. Just ordered the tilta cage and fan for long form shooting,  it even then I'll only be recording for 10-15 minutes at a time or so.

Easy to handle, ideal for traveling

This is my first full frame camera and I am really loving it! 
I won't need another camera for many years to come!

BIG Camera in a Small Body!

First things first, the camera's build quality is outstanding. It feels solid and comfortable in your hand, which is a big plus for those long shooting days. The image quality is razor-sharp, giving your photos and videos a professional finish. I was also incredibly impressed by the dynamic stabilization feature. Whether you're recording on-the-go or working in an unpredictable environment, this function ensures your footage remains smooth and steady - truly a game-changer!

Now, let's discuss the flip side. The AI features like dynamic stabilization and auto-centering are undoubtedly impressive, but they might need some refining. When set to full auto, I found that the camera's AI can become overly aggressive. It dynamically changes settings such as ISO and white balance based on scene variations, which can potentially result in inconsistent takes. So, if you're shooting in a dynamic environment, this could be a bit of a hiccup.

Despite the aforementioned caveat, I firmly believe that the Sony ZV-E1 Mirrorless Camera outshines others at its price point. It's packed with high-end features that can enhance the quality of your work significantly. The AI might need some fine-tuning, but that's something we can expect to see in the future.

For those who aren't used to operating a camera manually, don't fret! A quick crash course on ISO, Aperture, and Shutter Speed on YouTube should set you on the right path. With these basics in your toolkit, you can use the AI features effectively and create stunning images and videos.

All in all, if you're looking for a reliable, high-quality camera that offers great value for your money, the Sony ZV-E1 Mirrorless Camera with FE 28-60mm f/4-5.6 Lens is certainly worth considering.

Top-Notch Quality Meets High-Tech Features

Ok so I'm coming from the A7s3 and the biggest improvement that I'm LOVING is the autofocus. It does not miss! Even when I'm on a final and I'm orbiting around a subject it can detect the shape of a human body. It's incredibly accurate and relatable. I love the white color. I get compliments everyday on it. Also just the smaller weight makes it a breeze I. The gimbal!I've personally run into ZERO overheating issues so I don't know what the buzz is. Also the onboard mic sounds great for fun run and gun content. Honestly a great camera. No regrets!

ZVE1 > A7S3

It's worth noting how this camera is meant to be used: this is my b-cam to my FX3. I have already taken this camera on several trip and family outings and have never had it overheat. I shoot short intervals of 24fps. This is not meant to be a studio or wedding camera--although I'm sure you could rig it up so you could. I believe the camera got overhyped and tbe rebound of that was a lot of unwarranted hate (from people who don't own this camera). I love it and am thankful to have it.
