An excellent low-cost speaker, and Adorama was 30 dollars cheaper than everywhere else! It has decent bass, but I added a subwoofer to complement it. A value if you want to spend less than $350 for a set of speakers. Make sure that you break them in before deciding on their sound. They definitely improve after 80 hours of use.

having a living-room with space and speaker placement issues; finding a bookshelf speaker with those in mind and the performance I was after was the challenge. These met all requirements and then some. The sound is not boomy nor overly bright but warm and natural with a good dispersion and not having the boxy-sound,that many book-shelf speakers can have, all types of music are well represented. A smallsub-woofer (8") is recommended to really fill things out if listening to high-energy music. Also weak or defective amplifiers or under-powered amplifiers need not apply.
