This 8-string electric guitar offers an extended range and an increased sonic palette, making it an ideal choice for master composers. It features a 26.5" scale length, specifically designed to enhance low-end articulation. The guitar's body is crafted from lightweight and resonant poplar, topped with an arched top for a sleek, eye-catching design. The bolt-on maple neck, reinforced with graphite and a scarf joint, ensures rock-solid stability. This design increases the tension behind the nut, eliminating the need for string trees or string retainer bars, and allows for more control, attack, and sustain. The 12"-16" compound radius amaranth fingerboard hosts 24 jumbo frets and piranha tooth inlays. This design creates an ideal playing surface for fat riffs and easy chording near the black plastic nut, while gradually flattening in the upper registers for lightning-quick solos and wide bends without fear of fretting out. The JS32-8 DKA HT is powered by direct mount dual Jackson high-output humbucking pickups, painstakingly voiced for full, rich tone while providing maximum overdrive and sustain. These high-output pickups are mounted to the body without pickup bezels, increasing resonance and vibration transfer, and adding more punch and sustain to your sound. The guitar is also equipped with single volume and tone controls and three-way blade switching, a string-through-body fixed Jackson HT8 bridge, a Jackson 4x4 (4 over, 4 under) AT-1 headstock, and sealed die-cast tuners.
