Cheap but priceless.

I wanted an inexpensive electric to keep in my office at work. After trying some Squiers and Epiphones (skinny weird necks, too thin body, and those thin sounding single coils or cheap growly humbuckers) after trying those, I moved on to the used department. OK so some were nice for 250 and up. Got this one on sale at Adorama and wow. The blue one was the one on sale and it is actually beautiful. Blue metallic. carved top, rosewood and those cool tooth fret markers. Plays like a dream. I switched out to a new set of 10's, dropped the bridge and would like to add some lockers.. But then, everybody that reviews the less expensive guitars says that. There are a lot of great guitars out there for a thousand and up. In fact, I just bought a new PRS S2 and it really is great. However, what you get here is even more amazing for under 200 dollars. Under $ 160.00 sometimes when it is on sale. you cant even buy the parts for this price. Enjoy and thanks, Adorama and Jackson. Play it like you stole it! Because you did.!

Decent sound, but don't expect much from the trem

Humbuckers have a nice sound. Be prepared to tune somewhat often any time you hit the double locking tremolo.
