After years of refining their craft, Jackson has unleashed the JS Series Dinky Arch Top JS22 DKA Electric Guitar, a stunning instrument that combines classic Jackson tone, aesthetics, and playability at an affordable price. This metallic blue beauty boasts a poplar body with an arched top, enhancing its resonance and tonal clarity. The bolt-on maple speed neck, reinforced with graphite, ensures durability and stability, while the 12"-16" compound-radius bound amaranth fingerboard offers a smooth, comfortable playing experience. With 24 jumbo frets and pearloid sharkfin inlays, this guitar is not only a pleasure to play but also a sight to behold.The JS22 DKA is equipped with a pair of Jackson high-output humbucking pickups with ceramic magnets. These pickups deliver a clear, robust tone with plenty of girth, perfect for a wide range of musical styles. The sound can be easily shaped using the three-way toggle switch, along with single volume and tone controls, allowing for a versatile range of sonic possibilities.This model also showcases all-black hardware, including a synchronized fulcrum tremolo bridge for pitch-perfect vibrato effects. Standard strap buttons and die-cast tuners ensure reliable performance and tuning stability. The one-piece bolt-on maple neck with a scarf joint provides an angled back headstock, increasing the tension behind the nut and eliminating the need for string trees or retainer bars. Nice guitar, packaging a little damaged, but Jackson did a good job at making sure the inner packaging protected the guitar. Only complaint is the guitar has a standard tremolo system but came with a Floyd Rose bar so it doesn’t fit. Other than that, it’s a great buy.
