I now know true love.
First of all, I bought this guitar on Thursday November 3rd and I got it today, November 4th, with the free shipping option. That might be because, according to UPS, I live in the same state as the fulfillment center. Either way, that alone is insane.
Then I played it (black 7-string) and OH LORD, I don't think I have ever fallen in love with a guitar or anything or anyone as fast as I did with this Jackson. I feel bad for my future Latina wife because, even if her booty is as round as the Earth, she will never win my heart like this guitar did. Beefy tones with a body and neck that might even be lighter than my friend's Schecter. Straight out of the box it's even better than when I used to bring my EC-1000 to a guitar shop to get it ready for recording.
It feels legit and "expensive" and sounds amazing with my TS9DX going through my old 15watt Marshall. I can't wait to get my Peavey 6505+ and Mesa 4x12 from my drummer's house and let this baby really shine. I'm about the tear my neighborhood a new one.
I had been looking for a 7-string to start writing some beatdown/knocked loose-esque jams and this filled the whole in both my life and my heart completely. I got it at ($) but even at ($) this is a steal. Don't let the "dinky" name fool you, this guitar, while light weight, is the complete opposite.

price was right for first 7-string
I've played casually for ~20 years and wanted to try a 7-string. I settled on the the Jackson JS22-7 mainly because of price, but I've been pleasantly surprised at how well it plays.

Nice Guitar
This guitar plays like a much more expensive model. Came very well set-up right out of the box. Also, Adorama provided very fast shipping.
