I’ve had this guitar for a few weeks. I bought it here for $199. I told a friend the next day, and it had gone up to $300. Maybe I got lucky. Right out of the box, I tuned it up and played. It was set up pretty well. There was a small amount of fret buzz, and the intonation was slightly off on a couple of strings, but it was very well set up for something that came out of the box. I like humbuckers, and these sound good. The tremolo is fun to play with, but you need to learn about them, as they’re a bit fiddly. I’ll use this for recording demos, as I’m a bass player. I feel like it could be used for a variety of styles, despite the ‘metal’ look. I think it could be a fantastic blues guitar, for example.

The JS32 Dinky Arch Top has an elegantly arch-topped basswood body, bolt-on maple speed neck with graphite reinforcement, compound-radius (12"-16") bound rosewood fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets and pearloid sharkfin inlays and a bound headstock. Other features include dual high-output Jackson humbucking pickups with ceramic magnets and three-way blade switching, Jackson branded Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo bridge, black hardware and die-cast tuners. Available in Bright Blue and Satin Black.
Jackson high-output pickups
Painstakingly voiced for full, rich tone while providing maximum overdrive and sustain.
Bound fingerboards with sharkfin inlays
Elegantly bound JS fingerboards also feature Jackson's unmistakably classic and instantly recognizable "sharkfin" inlays.
Double-locking tremolos and high-mass hard-tail bridges
Once strings are stretched and tuned, JS double-locking tremolo bridges lock them down tight for total stability that withstands even the deepest, most swooping trem-arm dives. Jackson Hi-Mass hard-tail and compensate string-through bridges provide rock solid sustain and stability.
