durable and easy to use

Though neat, very sturdy and solid (with rubber soles on each leg), stable design (with tiny grooves around the ball to keep mechanism in place), and just the right weight, however, the disadvantage is not having the open slot on the side to allow for 90 degree angle or vertical positioning which I very much regret not having. It is the same for the Manfrotto PIXI Mini Tripod model (here) as it does not have that notch for portrait shooting. **The Manfrotto Pixi Plus has the side notch, so as the Joby HandyPod model**
