I bought this product when I came to know that I can roam around the office building w/o carrying my cell. First of all, it didn't work as it was advertized, you move to next room and it doesn't work. Second, the sound is coming o ear in very low voice, its very hard to hear the voice even you listen to highest possible volume setting.

Regrading comments about the distance, I had cell (iPhone4) on second floor and remained connected with no degradation in sound quality to or from while I was in the basement. Maybe it was the luck of the draw?

Did not work on arrival

Actually bought two to communicate with my wife at the helm while I work the anchor on the bow. I read reviews about poor sound and defective merchandise, but took a chance. Once set up and mics aligned, they work fine. Only problem is we'll need head bands to keep the dragon from falling out while moving around on deck. I even use the big ear bud. No help there. Otherwise, perfect.
