I bought this speaker for small gatherings, parties, and to have some pumping music in my shop. It is perfect for what I’m doing! I recently let a family member use it for a wedding reception and it filled a large room with sound and had a full sound across the spectrum. Very pleased!

Do not think this should be advertised as a 6 channel mixer. only channels 1 and 2 are quality inputs, 3 and 4 are weak and no controls except volume, very weak signal as well. Output is RCA which I would expect from an off brand, not JBL. Should have been 1/4" or XLR. Bought for the 6 channel feature but very dissapointed, will be returning.

I originally purchased one for ceremonies but got 2 for small events I DJ, clear sound nice punch on the low end. I was hoping JBL would come out with a louder option. But I have had no issues. Great design with the columns stored behind the woofer.

I first purchased this speaker on 9/15/18. On the night of 9/15/18, the same day I bought it, the speaker gave me trouble at a paid gig when we couldn’t hear the music come out of the speaker. Thankfully I was DJ’ing a close friend’s 50th birthday party, and I told them I would drive home (10 miles drive, 20 minutes each way) to get my two reliable (but heavy) EV speakers. Halfway en route from party to home, I got a call from the party that they got speaker to work and to return to the party. Turns out the speakers weren’t aligned correctly. I began DJ’ing half an hour later than I was hired. I bought this speaker to use at small events. It gave me trouble again when it would not play even though the XLR cables were connected correctly from my mixer. I turned the JBL speaker off and then back on, and it then started playing. I was hired to DJ a small outdoor wedding on September 29, 2019 for which I was relying on this speaker for the outdoor wedding ceremony. The night before the wedding, I connected the speaker to my Pioneer DDJ-SSR mixer with the two XLR cables. No sounds. I did trouble-shooting, replacing XLR cables in case it was the cables, nothing. I connected my laptop to the JBL with an aux cord, nothing. No sound at all. We had to use a small portable bluetooth speaker for the wedding ceremony, which was barely audible. The JBL FAILED ME COMPLETELY. I am not happy with this product at all and should have purchased a Bose as advised by friends in the DJ business, but was convinced at Guitar Center that the JBL would be a better fit for me. Unfortunately it is the most unreliable product I’ve ever purchased in my DJ career, not to mention super expensive. I don’t mind paying money for reliable products, but wasting money on garbage is painful. Thankfully I purchased the extended warranty/insurance from Guitar Center. Unfortunately, Guitar Center makes you ship the speaker via UPS, a huge inconvenience since you have to find a way to wrap up the speaker and box it yourself, since UPS charges $60 to do it. Had I known what an inconvenience and nightmare this purchase would cause me, I would have never in a million years purchased it.
