Less than 2 years old and the Bluetooth feature has already broke and rendered this unusable. Remember when products were built to last? Call me crazy but I think a piece of electronics should last several years. Cheap manufacturing and planned failure has made it so these corrupt companies can keep extracting money from us every 1-2 years. I will never purchase from this company again when Bose is a far greater product and has a real warranty period because they actually believe in their products. We need to stop propping up these garbage companies with their garbage products.

I bought this about 3 months ago and it has a great sound output. Especially the bass and stereo but on the downside the battery life isn't as advertised. On a full charge the Flip 6 cannot play music more than 5 hours.

The JBL flip 6 is an overall great speaker for the price and would definitely consider it for anyone just looking for something cheap that can be used anywhere Build quality/features: Based on the Jbl flip's cylinder soda can design . This speaker is very portable and very well built . The speaker has rubber bumper covers on the passive radiators and is wrapped in a very good feeling fabric that feels nice and grippy even in water . this speaker is outdoor ready with its ip67 rating and it shows . I have taken my own personal flip 6 in the shower and dunked it in water numerous times and it has survived every splash and dunk i've made it go through . This speaker also has a very good 12 hour playtime and in my experiences , I have gone days without charging the speaker . It also has party boost which lets me connect it to other speakers I own such as the charge 5 and flip 5 which is the flip 6s older sibling . Sound quality: this speaker features a 20 watt woofer and a 10 watt tweeter which gives it a maximum combined output of 30 watts . Overall the lows are nice and sounding for a speaker of its size. The speaker can get down to about 70-65 hz before the bass rolls off giving it that signature JBL punchy bass . The mids are the only part that isn't that great . Sure they're present but they have taken a back seat so they sound less detailed but that's just because of the signature V sound this speaker has but that can easily be fixed with tweaking the 3 band equalizer this JBL has in the app . The treble is very good and adds sparkle to hi hats and cymbals . The compression is also something to talk about since the sound can start to sound squashed and flat past 75% , but that could be because this speaker is small so it uses DSP to try to not blow itself up at high volumes Alternatives : there aren't many speakers that you can compare the flip 6 to . Sure you can buy a flip 4 used for cheaper but that thing is from 2017 from the age of micro USB . The only speaker I can sort of recommend is the flip 5 which is the flip 6s older sibling . The flip 5 still has that same good bass response of the flip 6 but it lacks the tweeter the flip 6 has and the built in equalizer . If you can find it dirt cheap then I would go for the flip 5 since its just as good as the flip 6 and its cheaper since the flip 5 is now considered "old". Overall: this speaker is a great value for money , but I would more recommend that you buy it on sale like I did . I found my gray flip 6 at Walmart for $70. The bass is very nice and punchy and the treble and mids are also just as good . Overall a great daily driver for all your outdoor adventures

I bought my JBL Flip 6 three to four weeks ago and it arrive on time for my camping trip. I really love that I was able to customize it, it looks so beautiful! The sound is great, and the battery lasts a long time, I didn't have to charge it for the three days we were at the lake. I recommend this to everyone!

You guys customized a bluetooth speaker with my daughter's artwork and my initials on it... it is one of the coolest things I own... before I even turned it on, I sent pictures to my friends and family... very...VERY impressed... now it's been awhile and ive used it quite a few times, I love it... I have been telling everyone a JBL customized speaker is the perfect gift!

I personalized this items for my daughter's birthday. Item was delivered to the wrong address I assumed as the picture of the delivery it's not my house. I had to call JBL several times to see if we figured out where my box was, I just got an email saying I will be refunded (after several calls I made to them), this is not what I wanted as the personalized items had personal pictures.

Designing the JBL Flip 6 was easy and fun to do. It came out just as I wanted it. Price was reasonable as well. Very happy with purchase.

I bought this for my girlfriend and she loves it. I have had a problem connecting from my Google Pixel 9 but it appears it is Googles issue, not with the speaker. I will buy another one for sure to link them.

I have the Flip 3 and it still works but it was time for an upgrade after 10years. So I wanted to get a new one since it was so well built and saw the 6 that was customizable, so I had to get it. The graphics ame out excellent, speaker sounds great and overall it is freaking awesome.

They are nice. I bought 2 for pairing and to fill the room with sound. The bass sounds better at lower volumes. It's a good clear sound and the 2 pair well together.

I have been wanting a waterproof portable speaker for a while and finally ordered one. I like that it comes with a strap for easy carrying, and the sound is impressive, the equalizer is a nice bonus. I hope this one lasts a long as my previous JBL speaker.

This is my third JBL speaker and I just love the functionality and design of these speakers. They are great for throwing in your bag for a day on the beach, or whatever you enjoy music. I have the largest speaker for our lake house and it holds a charge all day, for those days when I have guests over. I just purchased the smaller speakers for my home. I have one for when I'm outside, enjoying my patio in the evening. The speakers sound amazing, and for such a small size, they definitely make a huge bang. Worth every penny.

Ugh!!! This speaker sadly isn't "waterproof" like it's described. If you plan on using speaker while boating, don't! Mine got splashed with water and now won't turn on/charge. It didn't even get fully submerged!! So disappointed! Looks like I'll be in the market for a new waterproof speaker.
