A speaker enclosure that strips naked to MDF

I purchased 2 JBL L8400P active subwoofers but I will no longer support this product due to its cheap construction. I will be going to Polk Audio or Electro Voice. The veneer black ash will start unwrapping from the MDF This is a true design flaw as kitchen cabinets can hold up better.
