JBL Quantum ONE Wired Noise Canceling Over-Ear Gaming Headset, Black

I have a PartyBox 310. My brother has a PartyBox 320 and a pair of Live Pro 2 earbuds. Our family has had COUNTLESS Flip, Xtreme, and Charge speakers. For years, we have attributed JBL to superior sound and most importantly, bass. This headset could not be more disappointing for bass. Overall, sound is so-so. In my opinion, you're better off not using the quantum sound, as it makes everything sound tinny and inaccurate. The EQ settings just don't matter when the headset won't deliver the bass that every other JBL product I have been around does. Even though I picked these up for $100 during the holidays, I won't say the money was well spent.

Not even close to worth the price, sound quality is mid at best my $40 headphones from Walmart were better. There is also this horrible buzzng noise when listing to music with asc on, and besides holding them to you head to get a tighter seal nothing can be done. If you want to spend $300 on a set of headphones go somewhere else not here.

I bought these thinking they might not be able to live up to the price tag. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the sound emanating from this headset is simply wonderful. I am a pretty old dude that enjoys gaming as much as a 18 year old college student on break. That being said, knowing what direction my opponents are approaching from and being able to have a distinct advantage such as that, makes my gameplay all the better. I am not a fan of the inline DAC with volume control but, when you buy this level of gear, there are some items that you learn to work around. The sound makes up for the little control knob sitting on my desk. Buy these things when they are in stock as they rarely last. Wonderful product worth every penny!

Don't buy unless you want to experience bad audio, no ergonomics and feel like your head is trapped in a bag. Where do I even start with this thing. First of all, it sounds like static half of the time, I downloaded drivers, switched ports, everything, the static wont go away. The microphone is barely decent. The headphone itself is very tight and feels like it sticks to your head in a very uncomfortable way. I should have listened to the other reviews. These headphones are terrible.

I purchased these on a sale for about 100 dollars, and they work great, and have frankly incredible sound quality, they simply just do not go deep enough, and in my opinion, these are by no means a bad set of headphones. However they do not deserve the $330 price point, $200 would even be a bit much IMO. I've owned a pair of the Quantum 810 headphones for around a year as of Dec, 2025, and they feel more worth it than the Ones do, at a price over 100 dollars lower, they feature a metal outer shell and wireless connectivity (bluetooth and 2.4GHz dongle) along with the option of wired too and overall feel more worth it than the Ones do at a quality and function standpoint, while the Ones are wired only. TL;DR: Good headphones, mediocre build quality, would not recommend to an audiophile, better options (look at AKG (i know theyre also owned by Harman), NOT WORTH THE PRICE.

I bought this one a good sale for Black Friday and I expected it to be better than what it is. Like listening to songs with a lot of bass it's not as bassy as it should be and when using it for Warzone its not very good for that either, my wired apple EarPods from 8yrs ago are better

Overall I was very pleased with the purchase, especially for the sale price! But must give it a low score for one glaring problem. My mic mute button appears to be partially stuck after only pressing it a handful of times in the first week of use. My mic wasn't working, no mute indicator. But when trying to toggle the mic with the button there was no change in state and the button didn't feel like it was depressing. Felt solid. I jostled the headset a little by bumping on my palm and it started working again. I'm very careful with my electronics, and I'm not sure how this happened within a week of limited use.

Got these on a killer sale, and dont regret it a bit. Great sound quality, connectivity options, and design. Only downsides I can mention are user specific, I found them a hair on the heavy side for long gaming sessions (4+hours) and the controls on the left can be a little confusing at first

After purchasing this headset, I was incredibly excited to get it unboxed and up and running. Took some tweaks to get them game audio ready. Which took some time to balance out, and the first problem started. First update removed every setting I changed. Then the headset started to cut out, and then completely die in a couple months. Which after spending this much money is beyond infuriating.

Purchased about 1 year ago on sale for $250, headset is mid at best for $300 and being Wired. Mine has been cutting in and out for a few months now so I just don't even bother using it, but looking around it seems there is a cable/USB c connection issue that is why my sound goes in/out but the headset seems to always have power. Higher expectations, met with low product delivery. Disappointed and would not recommend to my enemies. I used this for music and games. If I were to give positive feedback for their development team is the headset was semi comfortable for long periods of time and had decent base.

I bought these headphones before Christmas and have been using them while gaming and listening to music on my PC. The sound is amazing and they are really comfortable even after using them for hours in a row. The noise canceling feature works great.

Let me start by saying I'm not an aggressive gamer, nor do I rough my headsets around. I pick it up to put on my head then set it back down when I'm done. It's stored well and I've put little to no stress on the physical product itself. I bought this headset in 2021 for myself and I was blown away with the sound quality. The pads felt nice and made my games sound so much better. I've never had a JBL product I've disliked or thought was built poorly but these headsets specifically disappointed me incredibly with build quality. It comes with a one year defect warranty and at around the one year mark I began having sound issues, so I sent it in for warranty and they happily replaced it, no charge. Now a year and a couple months later, the (now second) headset has already begun to fall apart. - There's a small braided wire on the left that ultimately leads to the right side speaker and it's begun to start shorting out to where more times than not I need to spend 5 minutes adjusting it perfectly before both sides work again. - The padding for the top of your head has begun to peel away from the headset and now has a large gash on both the front seam and back seam. - The pleather on the cushions has begun to peel off (as expected, i guess). - There are two plastic (I dont know how to describe them) covers, i guess? right above the base to the the top of each ear cup on that have come loose and slide along the head band when touched. - The ANC speakers hardly work, if at all anymore. When i bought it the ANC was incredibly effective and now i hear no difference. All-in-all I would swear by this headset if it were simply built better. As I stated I love JBL and I was really let down with this.

Whoever designed the unbelievably annoying knob that adjusts something with audio should be fired. It is an amazing headset in every conceivable way but why would anyone in their right mind think that adding that dumb knob was okay. It effectively cuts the wires' range in half since you can feel it dragging around whenever you need to move slightly.

I bought this headset a little over a year ago, been loving it since day one, the sound quality and noise cancelling are amazing. Around 2 weeks ago my microphone stopped working, not a big deal I will just buy a new one and have it in a few days. NOPE, you cannot purchase this microphone anywhere, and none of the cheap off brand microphones on amazon are compatible with this headset. I tried to contact customer support about this to see if they would make it right, they claimed they would "get back to me", and that never happened. I have several JBL products in my house, my daughter and I both play with JBL gaming headsets, but after this I will not be purchasing through them anymore. Hope this review steers you in the right direction!

I was just about to pull the trigger on these when I thought I should check the JBL Website FIRST. GLAD I DID. I would've been extremely disappointed when they arrived and didn't perform as advertised. All the wonderful features these have are specifically designed for a PC. And if I was gaming with a computer, I believe that this product would fit the bill quite nicely. As I haven't made a purchase of them, it would be unfair to judge them at less than the average number of stars others who have purchased them have rated them. The JBL headphones that I've previously purchased for music from my iPhone have been outstanding. Please make a very similar set with THX and ATMOS 7.1 surround sound as well as the ability to track the position of the user's head in relation to the action being displayed on the screen. If you build them, then I'll buy them. However, be quick about it because I'm continuing to shop. But I'm not going to just settle for anything?EXCEPT ? my home's 9.1.4 surround sound system.

the fifth star was due to the fact i got them (wired) on sale for $150. quick start guide doesnt tell you how to "calibrate" them (not to be confused with "centering"). surround was kinda... meh. before the calibration routine the center was drifting and the transitions from side to side were not smooth. afterwards these headphones SHINE! my music sounds great. the "quantum engineering" software is intuitive and does the job. i had to crank up EQ because i like my music in the 80db range. by my standards they are not particular loud, my wife however was freaked out by the volume, so i suppose it subjective. game sounds are incredible... turning your ear to sounds (i can tell where frags land and hear even quiet footsteps. the ability to balance discord and game sounds is a sweet bonus. these blow away the EPOS and Sunheisers i tried.

Was very hesitant to get a new headset but man am I happy with this one. very comfortable, noise cancellation is a plus. the dial on the cord allows for instant adjustment between communication and audio; whether you want to hear your teammates talking or you want to hear only the soundtrack in the game you're playing, its awesome. Very sturdy design. Bendable microphone boom. For the sale price, its an absolute deal. 9/10 recommend.

This headset sounds great and I love the software that comes with it. This has been my opinion of this headset for a long time until recently. Every 2 weeks, this headset refuses to have sound. It simply does not register as headphones on my computer and will not change from speaker to headphone when I try. The only way I can remedy this is to completely uninstall the software then reinstall. When this is happening often, it gets annoying very, very, very fast. This will be my last high end headset from JBL, for the price that this headset costs, especially when I bought it several years ago, I expect more from my products and a functioning firmware system. This does not cut it anymore

the headphones work as headphones, except they had an annoying ringing noise for the first month. I called support and they were fixed without doing anything (as in I called support and then the ringing stopped). but the annoying thing is the volume mixer, just from moving, it has caused a break in one my computer's USB ports (the thing in the center snapped off, and as of the day I'm posting, the 2 other USB ports now don't work with the headphones. This is a problem I have never had with any other pair of headphones.

Best in class gaming headset. Amazing soun and great bass with everything you'd need in a headset. The JBL software it coming with is also amazing. The microphone is great too and the noise cancelation is an absolute must have and JBL did it great. HOWEVER this headset severely suffers on a few key elements and all who are thinking of buying should beware of these issues. THE AWFUL CABLE- the cable quality is fantastic, the problem is the absolute dead weight volume knob on the center of the cable. It's ridiculously never used or helpful and is a huge annoyance for the fact it will just pull your cable and headset down if it hangs or falls off your desk. It IS NOT substitutional and the headset needs the official cable to function for no good reason. PLEASE JBL make the next headset learn from this design mistake. VOLUME DROPS- This headset for no reason i can find will occasionally reduce incoming volume down and back to normal again multiple times for a short period of time randomly. It is incredibly frustrating and it has no fix that i can find. It is not just a defect in my headset either because i found my best friend this headset and he has the same issue i do. The volume display on the JBL application will also display that the annoying volume knob that shifts game volume to chat volume will move by it's self down and back again periodically and it is not fun to have to deal with. Otherwise i would rate this headset at 5 stars without a doubt, but with these issues being so frustrating and not of my control i cannot rightfully give it 5 stars.
