After a comprehensive upgrade, the BlackBox BBP64 64-Channel Player now offers an automated, high-quality, multichannel audio playback system, capable of delivering up to 24bit/96kHz audio quality. This advanced player is designed for live shows, themed entertainment, exhibitions, and broadcasts, eliminating the need for a computer.

The BlackBox BBP64 Player, available for both 24 and 64-channel BlackBox systems, stands out from the standard BlackBox Recorder with its unique ability to arrange an entire show's content into an easily editable playlist. This feature allows for instant playback of preloaded cues and offers the flexibility to adjust the playlist on the fly, even during a live show.

The BlackBox BBP64 Player supports a wide range of audio file formats, including WAV, BWAV, mono, stereo, and polywav files. Audio content can be stored on an external USB 2.0 hard drive or USB 2.0 Flash drive, ensuring seamless and uninterrupted playback.

The BlackBox BBP64 Player's user-friendly interface allows for sample-accurate synchronous playback of each audio file through its respective output. The show set list can be configured as a simple XML format playlist, with each song automatically pre-loading. Manual changes can also be made, and multiple playlists can be stored for different shows or performances.

The BlackBox BBP64 Player offers a variety of control options, including footswitch, QWERTY keyboard, timecode, MIDI commands, or the JoeCoRemote for iPad. Each channel can be separately balanced, EQd, and processed alongside other live audio to compensate for venue acoustics or audience-generated noise during performances.

For enhanced synchronization with visual media, the Player can be configured to start in sync with incoming timecode and audio clock, supporting all standard timecode frame rates.

The BlackBox BBP64 Player is equipped with built-in safety features, such as the ability to configure a pair of Balanced Players for automated fail-over, ensuring the show goes on, no matter what.

This versatile system includes full BlackBox Recorder functionality. A simple menu selection transforms the system into either a Recorder or a Player as required. The Player software is also available as a separate upgrade for existing BlackBox Recorder owners, making it a flexible and cost-effective solution for all your audio playback needs.
