I love this little adapter

I love this thing - I wouldn't use it for anything heavier than a 2.8/300, but this is a great addition to a ballhead for longer lenses.

Good lightweight alternative to gimbol head

Light and inexpensive and takes up very little room in camera bag Suitable in my opinion for lenses up to about 6 lb Use with a good sturdy ball head ( Arca Swiss)
