This robust unit is housed in a full 7" deep rack-mounted chassis, designed to seamlessly integrate with your existing setup. The JG 9NS is not just a power distribution center, it also offers basic AC line conditioning and spike protection, ensuring your equipment stays safe from power fluctuations and surges.The JG 9NS is part of the JG Series, a family of high-quality, economical power and light modules that are essential accessories for any rack-mounted system. These units are designed to provide clean, stable power, with discreet internal components that help to filter out dirty and dangerous AC voltage. This power distribution center comes equipped with nine AC receptacles, including one unswitched outlet on the front panel for easy access. The remaining eight outlets are conveniently located on the back, rotated 90 degrees to better accommodate "wall wart" power supplies. Each of these AC outlets is a NEMA 5-15R, rated for 15 amps, providing ample power for your devices.The JG 9NS boasts a fifteen amp circuit breaker and a twelve amp maximum current rating, ensuring optimal power distribution and protection. It features a fast-acting metal oxide varistor (MOV) that clamps voltage spikes between the incoming line and neutral leads. This is complemented by a capacitor that reduces the level of AC line interference, enhancing the surge protection and providing a primary level of line noise elimination.The power cord on the JG 9NS is rated for fifteen amps and features a NEMA 5-15P plug. At six feet long, it offers flexibility in positioning your power distribution center.
