This advanced, rack-mounted power distribution unit is designed with the needs of musicians and audio professionals in mind, offering a blend of high-quality features and durable construction.The Rackpower 100 is equipped with an easy-to-read LED power meter, allowing you to monitor your power supply and consumption with precision. With a simple push of a button, you can toggle between volts and amps, with voltage measured to the nearest 0.10 VAC and amperage measured in a range from 0.20A to 25.0A.For added convenience, the Rackpower 100 features two USB ports, one on the front and one on the back of the unit. These 5-volt DC connections can be used for utility lighting or powering accessories. You can easily connect a flexible USB light fixture for illumination in the front or back of the rack, or use the ports to charge your devices, including iPhones or iPads.The Rackpower 100 boasts a total of ten AC power receptacles, with one located on the front and nine on the back. The rear outlets are strategically rotated to accommodate wall warts, with extra generous spacing between four of them for easy plug-in. The RP 100-20A model includes a single NEMA 5-20R, rated for a twenty-amp load.Power input is facilitated by a twelve-foot, fourteen-gauge power cord with a NEMA 5-15P plug in the RP 100-15A model. The RP 100-20A, due to its higher twenty-amp rating, features a twelve-foot, twelve-gauge power cord with a NEMA 5-20P plug, requiring a twenty-amp, 5-20R, receptacle for connection to utility power.The Rackpower 100 also offers multi-stage power conditioning components, including a series choke and fast reaction time surge clamps across hot, neutral, and ground. Its professional-grade, ten-inch deep enclosure is formed from a single piece of cold-rolled steel, with reinforced mounting brackets and a flush mount top. This durable and efficient unit can easily accommodate other products weighing over 200 pounds, with the extra chassis depth allowing easy access to the rear receptacles while mounted in a rack.
